Salvador de Aguas Vivas

For this parish in Guadalajara, near Madrid, Father Rupnik and Centro Aletti designed a series of artistic solutions to depict significant biblical stories. Among them is a stained glass window depicting the Resurrection of Christ, with Christ rising from the dead alongside Adam and Eve as representatives of all humanity.

This exceptional icon is positioned near the baptistery, symbolizing our connection to our beginnings in Christian life. The stained glass window was crafted using a unique technique of glass fusion and ceramic colors. The structured glass provides an organic backdrop for painting with ceramic colors. Light transforms through the glass, illuminating Christ, Adam, and Eve equally, adding a new dimension to the artwork.
