Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The facade and entrance arcades of the Catholic Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Belgrade, Serbia, are adorned with unique stained glass windows by Fr. Rupnik and the Centro Aletti art institute. These windows depict important iconographic biblical scenes and are harmoniously connected with the mosaics that continue on the church's facade and bell tower. The stained glass windows were created using the technique of painting on glass with ceramic translucent colors. These colors allow light transmission and emphasize the transformation of new light, symbolizing life within the church.
